Tribest Personal Blender

How is the new year going for you? I bet there were many of you who resolved to be healthier in 2010. Maintaining a healthy diet is one key component toward maintaining a healthy lifestyle. There are a number of ways to accomplish this, and having the right tools at hand that make keeping those goals easy and convenient is very helpful. One nifty small kitchen appliance that helps make being healthy easy, convenient, and fun for me is my Tribest PB-250 Personal Blender & Grinder, and I have one to give as a gift to you.

The Tribest Personal Blender is so convenient for making an array of single serving smoothies and blended drinks. But your options don’t stop there. You can make individual and small quantity servings of soups, salsas, sauces, pesto, dips, salad dressing, puddings, baby food, and more. You can also grind nuts, seeds, herbs, and spices with the units that have the grinder feature.

Appearance wise, it has a sleek and compact design that doesn’t take up much counter space, and it’s light-weight and portable. But don’t let it’s size fool you. It has the power to blend and grind like a regular blender – 200 watts of power. You’ll find it useful to make individual and small quantity servings when you are busy and on the go, at home, at work, or when you travel.

A cool feature of the line of Tribest Personal Blender’s is there are no switches or buttons. So how do you power it? It’s capable of 2 function modes: One-touch pulse mode or press down for continuous blending/grinding operation. All you need to do is plug in the base, then place ingredients into the blending container, screw on the lid with blade, then place the blade covered container on the base and press down or pulse to start the blender, and voila! Your delicious creation is ready to serve, just unscrew the lid with blade, and replace it with a commuter sipping lid or one of the regular lids. It’s a real time-saver using the blend and serve container cups, and they are cleaning them is quick and easy.

Tribest has a personal blender model to suit a range of needs, and now offers BPA free blending containers. Models PB-150, PB-250, and PB-350 have these containers. This means these containers are made from an advanced material that contains no Bisphenol-A.

This new year has began with finally accomplishing a better lifestyle. I have always been overweight and have struggled with it all my life. When i finally gave up all the “its just sooo good” food i began losing the pounds, i mostly cut out all dairy food. My friend introduced me to raw and vegan foods and not only do i look better but feel better entirely. Cheers to a new year, and a healthy lifestyle.

Kind of dipped off my mostly raw agenda in December but I’m now ‘mostly’ back on track with salads, juices and smoothies as the mainstay of my diet. I really appreciate the recipes and support from your site.

Awesome beginning of new year! Entered a (conventional)Culinary Arts program. My first day of class was a 7am with a beautiful sunrise. My classroom overlooks the pacific ocean. The course was nutrition and happened to fall on my birthday (50). I will be attending an all day on Sat. Raw Food Fundamentals from Living Light (rawfoodchef.com) I hope to finish the conventional and Raw certifications and then be able to apply for raw/health/eco/resorts worldwide! Great Start for the year!

The new year is going well, I am working hard on my vegan blog which often mentions the trend toward the raw foods diet. I am moving into a home with a raw foods chef and hope to incorporate more raw foods into my vegan diet of many years. I would love a chance to win a blender! Thanks for this offer.

The new year has started out slowly for me. I wanted to transition to veganism as my resolution, but it hasn’t happened yet. I also wanted to eat fewer processed foods. I hope winning this blender/grinder will help to motivate me!

“How is the new unfolding for you so far?”

FANTASTIC! I’ve gone completely disposable paper-free (towels, tissues, napkins, tp, feminine stuff, etc. There is still writing paper and books but no magazines or newspapers anymore!) for the new year!
I have a cheap personal blender that I picked up at BigLots about a year ago. I use it every day and would love to have a real one!

  20. Avis on January 25, 2010 Monday, 5:19 pm

Happy New Year. This year is fantastic so far. I think of last year as pretty great too, but when I describe it, it sounds awful. Six months of chemotherapy for Stage IV cancer. Then a month in the hospital, 3 surgeries and 3 more months of treatment for problems related to cancer radiation I had almost 20 years ago! But when I think of the year I remember that I was able to remain a vegetarian; we took a wondrous trip to Egypt to see the pyramids and other ancient treasures; and I was able to teach in Canada twice — something I love to do.
This year my resolution is to go raw. So far I’m loving it, and have had some awesome meals. And I get to go back to Canada in February to see my students and colleagues again.
Hoping all your dreams come true!

  21. Erica on January 25, 2010 Monday, 5:40 pm

Starting the new year with healthy eating and finishing my senior thesis! This is my last semester in college and I have so many plans after graduation! Hope everyone else is starting the new year right, and making their dreams come true. :)

  22. Amanda on January 25, 2010 Monday, 5:45 pm

My new year is off to a year full of the unknown. I am a newly single mother and I have made a promise to myself to get healthy for me and my child. I am off to a great start, I have been eating almost 100% raw foods now for two weeks. I know I need to juice more but with a very clingy baby it gets a bit hard to do with my big juicer. I think a small personal sized one would really help with my journey to transformation!

  23. Julie on January 25, 2010 Monday, 5:59 pm

My new year is going well, thanks for asking. I’m looking forward to improved health this year, so that I can help improve the health of others. I will become a liscensed massage therapist this year! I love my morning smoothies. They are a great fuel that is helping me to acheive my goals!

The unfolding is continual and inspiring. Started the new year off with a 25 day very low calorie paleo diet /liver cleanse. Now on a balanced paleo diet and adding juicing with blue green algae. Wrote out my goals for deepening my contribution in my social work career and taken on a 60 day Bikram yoga challenge. That scares me!

  27. Jane Kowalski on January 25, 2010 Monday, 6:36 pm

Despite the winter chill, my new me is absolutely blossoming! I’ve been going to the gym with my husband almost every morning and we’ve both lost several pounds and inches. Whipping up a personal smoothie would be just the thing before dashing out the door to work.

  28. sarah on January 25, 2010 Monday, 6:37 pm

This year is the best year ever! I’ve maintained a high raw diet, and built up my exercise routine enough to plan a 5K in March, a biathalon in April, and a triathalon in August! My work schedule is insane, but I LOVE my job and what I do, and with the help of raw food nutrition I can do it!

  29. Annette D on January 25, 2010 Monday, 6:43 pm

So far, it is much better than last year. Hopefully, however, I will find a job by the end of this month or early on into next month. As of this month, I have been searching for over a year for work. Fortunately, we have been able to carefully budget, but finding the right mix of income and benefits has proved difficult. I feel optimistic about this year, though, and have already had one interview. Thanks for this giveaway!

WOW this year is shaping up to be a very positive one and has been filled already with many long awaited blessings! First the birth of my son Kai on Christmas! What a joy! Did not think any think could top that until yesterday when my 4 yr old told me she LOVED ME! My second daughter Luna has mild Autism. We started aggressive Bio medical treatment back in June.We supported her treatment with a healthy diet consisting of only organic foods. We Began chelation(The processes of removing heavy metals from the body) on her two months ago and saw major improvement! Eye contact came back, and Luna was soon able to: ride a tricycle, ride a bicycle w/ training wheels, point to body parts when asked, follow simple instructions, play well with others… and much more. I know theses things sound trivial but I had a 4 yr old that could not do these things! It is my and my family’s belief that the mercury in the vaccines did this to here! We lost her after her MMR! Once we started pulling the mercury out ( Which showed up in VERY HIGH levels on tests) Luna started to come back to us! She is NOW starting to talk! And the words I LOVE YOU is a wonderful signal that this year is unfolding to be the best year ever!
    Take Care,
    Samantha Cook

Well, the weather is fine, but it seems like all my special appliances are fading out on me. Food Processor, KTec Blender, Coffee Grinder, all need replacing. My breadmaker is also down, but because I have been attempting to transition to the raw vegan diet/lifestyle, I won’t be replacing that.
I am suffering from arthritis and an active cancer recurrence so I am doubly determined to get my life into as much order as I can. The specialist doesn’t want to operate, so I thought I would just do my best to get so healthy that it won’t even be an issue anymore.
After the initial cancer surgery and lots of stress, (loss of mother, daughter and job) I need to go see my remaining family. One child is in Amsterdam, another in Jerusalem and another in Edmonton. This little blender would definitely be my constant travel companion as I “green smoothie” my way around the world.
    Thanks for this opportunity!

The new year is unfolding for me with hopes of more joy, love and peace. I had a very difficult year in 2009 wherein I lost my only child at age 29 to pancreatic cancer. She has taught me so much about courage, acceptance and foregiveness that any book can give. I’m currently raising her 2 children ages 2 and 7 and have decided to become vegan after 20 years of eating only fish and dairy. I’m praying that this new life style will help me stay healthy to see my grandchildren graduate from college and married. This blender would be a blessing to me for smoothies, veggie drinks and other healthy foods for me any my grandchildren.

Nice giveaway! My new year has been pretty good so far. I’ve been trying to keep in mind that nothing changes overnight and happiness is often found through balance. It’s been hard to maintain my goal of living in the present (not being overwhelmed by past regrets/grudges, nor being obsessed about the future), but one day at a time, right?

  46. tina on January 25, 2010 Monday, 9:01 pm

Best start to a New Year for as long as I can remember!! Spent 2009 in and out of hospital and Dr’s surgeries. I stumbled upon the Raw Food Diet 2 months ago while doing research on Candida diets and let me just say it’s unbelievable!! I now grow my own veges, have reconnected with friends with my new found time and energy and haven’t seen a Dr since! It has been the gift of getting my life back and would love a blender to go with it :) xx

  62. Rija on January 26, 2010 Tuesday, 8:32 am

So far so good, I’m on a weight loss quest. I’m down almost 6lbs since the beginning of the year. I want to lose 20lbs at least.

I’m doing raw juicing at least 1x a day and slowly adding healthier choices to my life.

I had an injury over a year ago and had to stop running. I’m happy to say that since Jan 1, I’ve started running again. Love it! And am up to 40 minutes.

My plan is to do a few 5k’s this year and maybe 1 10k in the fall.

    Very exciting.

  63. Elena on January 26, 2010 Tuesday, 8:39 am

The new year has been pretty interesting and awesome so far. I kicked it off with a Daniel Fast and a Candida cleanse all at once [I have not been diagnosed, but think it is a good idea to clean out any extra nasties I might have in my gut every once in a while]. On a non-health related topic, I decided to do crazier, riskier things this year, so I went Repelling. I actually found it to be fun.

As far as this tiny blender is concerned–I would love to get my hands on it. I have been looking for something for my 80-yr-old Mom that would not be as intimidating to her as my Vita-Mix, and this seems to be as something she might actually use to puree her veggies.

  64. Sophie on January 26, 2010 Tuesday, 9:11 am

Life is so good! i am entering my 2nd year of eating high raw and am tickled to say that today is the day that I’ve decided to go 100%. I am 1 month into a gentle 3 month-long colon and detoxifying cleanse and it feels like this is the reason my body is saying “More raw, please!” I am in awe of the human body and it fills me with complete joy just being on this journey to vibrant health. I hope that I in turn inspire at least 1 person by remembering that vibrant health is our natural state. YAY!

  65. Lori B on January 26, 2010 Tuesday, 9:38 am

Would love to add this to my kitchen

  66. Deborah R on January 26, 2010 Tuesday, 10:07 am

Generally, the new year has started off well. I resolved to add more yummy healthy items to our home menu (as opposed to resolving to not eat not-so-healthy stuff) and I’m finding it fun and pleasant to explore new food options and recipes. We’ve had a lot of snow and I’ve been shoveling so I’m getting more exercise, too. I’m looking forward to more good things throughout the year.

  67. Heather McDonough on January 26, 2010 Tuesday, 10:11 am

My year is going well. I made a resolution to do yoga every day, and so far I’ve stuck with it!

The New Year is going great. Exercising more and giving more to those in need. Remember to help those in Haiti, give to the Red Cross.

  69. andra on January 26, 2010 Tuesday, 10:32 am

Well, my year has not been the best thus far. I adopted an angel (dog) from our local city animal shelter. This was to be my first dog. She was just so perfect; she was 11 years old and was a “shih tzu mix” dog. I was told by their vets that she had “kennel cough”. Well, in taking her to my vet, I found out that she actually had an enlarged heart, severe heart murmur and the enlarged heart was pressing on her trachea, causing the cough and breathing problems. We had a great first part of the week but then her health started to deteriorate. Two vet visits later and three medication changes not only did not improve her condition but she continued to deteriorate physically. Her spirit was with us, though, and I know she was happy to be loved and even more happy to be out of that bleak shelter. Well, by the end of our time together, she went into heart failure and the vet suggested humane euthansia. Which was the most painful thing I have had to do thus far in my life. My angel is now gone and my husband and I are just heartbroken beyond belief. I have been crying daily, my appetite is gone and I have nausea constantly, and my poor husband has been really struggling too. I am trying to take comfort in knowing that my angel had a very happy life with us but I never expected this outcome. I am so sorrowful for not having more time with her :( So, this year has been full of intense grief and pain. I hate to report this but since you asked, I am being truthful. andra

So far 2010 has been an exciting adventure! I am in the process of planning a HUGE move (3,000 miles) and have been motivated to follow my dreams as a writer and creator. I am also diving into a high raw diet to better my health and life! I have never felt so inspired and optimistic as I have felt in the past few weeks.

The new year began with a renewed spirit and rejoicing body: both a testimate to my new raw lifestyle. I am excited to teach others about this way of life. In fact, I am feeling so good my friend has talked me into training for my first 1/2 marathon! May the new year unfold elegantly and reveal amazing people and experiences that are meant to come into my life. Cheers!

Hi! What a terrific giveaway! Even if I don’t win, I’m happy to hear that someone will be getting a fantastic surprise! I was just staring at the computer screen last night, drooling over the mason jar one and wishing I could order it, but something stopped me and I’m so glad. This morning we FINALLY heard word about our family in Haiti (my children were adopted from Haiti 5 yrs ago and we still have family/friends there) that they are OK and we now have a way to send money to them!! So, I sent as much as we could via Western Union this morning, and I was thankful I didn’t spend $100 on this blender so I could send even more to them since they really need it. Them sleeping in the streets and scared, wondering how the children are going to be fed…it’s ridiculous for me to even consider buying a blender for myself right now.
So to answer your question, how is the new year unfolding… I’d have to say in honesty that’s it’s been a shocking and intense few weeks but hope and love have persevered and sunlight seems to be peeking through the clouds. It’s going to take time, but it’s going to be OK.

Thank you for all that you do and the ways that you bring sunshine to your readers lives.

all that really matters is Love.

raw vegan foods can get you there.

a year ago, i began raw with lots of nuts and oils. ive been around the raw block, and now, january 2010 is about listening to the inner wisdom (like steamed broccoli is better than a thick nut pate). at least for my process now.

trying to find balance, peace, and a clean house.

we travel a lot so the Tribest has been on my wishlist for a long time! gratitude!

So far this year has not been so good…My lung has collapsed twice and I’m about to have surgery on Feb. 9th to hopefully fix this problem. I also have irritable bowel syndrome which makes life and eating an interesting challenge. If I make it through the surgery I plan to embrace a much healthier lifestyle (more excercise, gardening, better, real foods, less stress) and will continue looking for ways to get the IBS under control. My niece told me about raw foods and I am excited to start trying it, although I am allergic to nuts so I will have to be careful and selective in the recipes. Wishing everyone great health and happiness this year and in years to come. :)

  133. Erin on February 3, 2010 Wednesday, 1:35 pm

I have a Tribest P150 and I LOVE it. I make smoothies in it all the time. I bought it when I was living in the graduate dorms and it helped me eat more healthily. It is extremely portable. And I like that it blends right in the cup. All you have to do is add ingredients, screw on the blade, blitz, remove the blade, and add a lid. Perfect.

I do wish I had gotten the P250 because my P150 lacks the grinding blade and containers. Now that I have a real kitchen, I would like to use those!

My new has been going great. I’m finally living with my husband after being apart for 2.5 years. I’ve finished school, and I have my RN license. The new eating plan is going well, and weight loss is happening. Up next – looking for a new apartment and finding a job! This should be an awesome year.

My new year? Began it with a “Body & Soul” cleanse… on day 31 so only 9 more to go!
The Tribest would sure come in handy about now… especially with our up and coming mission trips!
Thanks for the opportunity to win a Tribest!
    Kelly :)

  170. Marie Holt on February 6, 2010 Saturday, 11:40 pm

    Hi Miranda
The new year is starting out with a struggle. Learning, curiosity, struggle; these are kind of tag words for my new year. I am learning so I can make some important changes in my diet. I need to change my lifestyle both in diet and exercise. My goal is to achieve improvements in my health. I am curious about raw diets, raw food and raw recipes, and about going going organic, more raw, more healthy. So I am learning. I need to do this to improve my health as I said – diabetes, gall stones, kidney stone, endometriosis, fibroids, tendonitis, beginnings of arthritis in my hands and feet, – it has become reality check time. I am going to turn to raw food, organic food , smoothies, healthy eating and some good old fashioned exercise to improve my health. It is a learning journey and I am enjoying it actually. I’m 45, a wife and mom, and its time to focus a little on ME for a change. My goal includes weight loss, improved fitness, and improved health and well being. I think it can be done. I intend to do it. My other challenge is to teach my daughter to live this lifestyle too, so she doesn’t grow up with my bad eating habits I had. She is six, there is time to teach diet and exercise, and make it fun and tasty! Those are my goals! Happy New Year!

The New year is going great. But I know it can be amazing so I’ll keep working towards that goal.

  172. Judy Smith on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 5:07 am

I am a 61 year old woman that has been 100% low fat raw for 2 years this coming May. It has been an awesome journey. I was on 4 prescription drugs and now am not on anything except fruits and vegetables. :) Just finished my green smoothie for breakfast and going to head out for a walk and then to yoga class. I am blessed. Thanks for letting me share. Enjoy the day and don’t forget to breathe. :)

  173. Danielle on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 7:11 am

  178. kim Hajduk on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 10:59 am

The new for me is a chance to start/restart my life and choices I make, the new is the oppertunity to try again or try harder and sometimes it’s just getting started. As long as I have that little seed in my think tank thats the first step. Always trying to improve and be better….and keep moving forward. It’s the best new yet!

  179. stephanie brown on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 12:03 pm

Hi – the new year has been up and down so far. I’m looking to find more consistency in my eating rather than swinging from one direction to the other. Would love the Tribest blender – part of my eating issues come from being out of town a lot, so this would be perfect for traveling.
    Thanks!

  180. Adele on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 1:55 pm

So far, so good. Thanks for this offer.

  184. Debra F on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 5:40 pm

My new year is off to a really good start. As a family, we have successfully replaced almost all of the white bread and pasta we eat with whole grains, we have significantly reduced the amount of processed foods we eat and soon we’ll be making a huge push to cut the amount of sugar we consume in half. The kids are doing great and we are all feeling much healthier.

  185. Eva D on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 5:51 pm

I have hope and faith in the new year. It is starting out great and I know it is going to be the year that renews and restores.

  186. Betsy on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 5:57 pm

So far the new year has been good with the exception of a health setback but now back on track and on my path to a healthier eating life style. Incorporating more raw foods and drinking green smoothies has been easier than expected and feeling so good. Would love to try your blender which sounds perfect to use at work. Thanks for having a give away offer….

  187. Sharon Seneker on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 6:38 pm

How is the New YEAR unfolding? So far, so good. Everything is going well. I definitely need to stick to my diet and something like this would help me eat more fruits and vegetables because I don’t have to mess up a large blender to make good stuff!

  191. Molly K on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 7:28 pm

I started out the year on a high note. I have bounced off the wagon a few times but have gotten right back on. So far I have lost almost 5 pounds!!

  193. Brandy on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 7:51 pm

My year is going well so far, thank you! I am creating a lot more of my own raw, vegan dishes, reading, sharing with friends, etc. An appliance like this would make the raw journey that much easier, but I am enjoying it so far!

  194. stephanie forest on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 7:52 pm

hi, how is the new year unfolding for me?
well, like everything these days there are the good moments and then some challenging spots.
mostly however, im pleased to report feeling rather optimistic and hopeful. it is possible to bring on cures for diseases that are found in the natural world. it’s possible to erase prejudice and replace it with tolerance. it’s possible to develop a new kind of peace on earth. as we stay in the beams of hope for a brighter future, the promise of a good future unfolds.

  195. MICHELE on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 8:23 pm

Thank you for the giveaway. My new years hasn’t started out very well nutition wise. I want to eat better but, working at my temporary job for many hours, when I eat lunch or come home, it’s hard to find healthy food options.

  196. Rosie on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 8:44 pm

The new year is looking more optimistic than 2009, a very welcome relief. It looks like a family member will get a job after being unemployed for nearly nine months. And hopefully there will be travel and more dining out in the future.

  197. Vicki Andrew on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 9:34 pm

I have been sick most of the new year so the year is off to a slow start. Hoping it gets better by march

  198. Julia @ Easy Eco To Go on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 9:48 pm

My year has started very well. My family seems to have found our rhythm in our new house and new town, I feel like I’ve found my personal rhythm with my blog and my food issues finally seem to be under control. I would even haphazard to say this is going to be a great year!

  199. Pam on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 9:51 pm

The new year has been fantastic, but an incredible challenge. I decided to document a 90 day raw food challenge on the Gabriel Cousens Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine diet. I’ve been learning more than I imagined possible.

Anyone wanting to give raw food a try should attempt documenting a challenge of some sort for accountability. Nothing compares. You will gain the strength needed to stay on the diet long enough to decide if a raw vegan diet is for you.

  200. karen on February 7, 2010 Sunday, 9:56 pm

I got a better job, so I’d say the year so far is pretty good. Thanks.

So far, so great! I know this year is going to be awesome. Will be going to Ohio, which I have never been to, to visit family I have not seen in five years; and going to Peru in September; which I have dreamed of for a few years now….so that is awesome. This year is so far awesome and I am only going to make it better!!!!

  217. Tami Jo on February 8, 2010 Monday, 2:52 pm

I have been wanting to find a good reliable personal blender for taking with me. It is best to drink a smoothie right after making it, but I always have to blend it at home, and bring it to work and some days I don’t have enough time and then I miss out. I just got over a little flu bug, but I think all those green smoothies I make made the duration only last a day. Yeah for green smoothies!!

  218. Kim Davis on February 8, 2010 Monday, 3:23 pm

SO far the new year is still up in the air. It was wonderful with my daughter turning one but then we got fired from the day care she had been going to since she was 3 months old and had to scramble to find a new provider. Today was her first day at the new place and she seems to love it so maybe this was a blessing in disguise.

My new year has had a very healthy start. I started on a path to veganism in November of ‘09. I struggled at first, but now in 2010, I am finally on track. I’ve lost 10 lbs. and feel so much better! I love juicing and blending, but my old blender bit the dust in December. I would love to replace it with the Tribest Personal Blender. That would make for an even healthier, happier new year. Thanks for a terrific give-a-way!

I’ve finally moved into a house with my family that we love… were planning our garden and our little girl is finding imagination to be her best ally. Whirlwind of some years to finally settle and start cooking, reading, creating. What a ride of parent hood and what a blessing to come out of the first two years feeling ready to face our future. My daughters favorite food I am happy to say is…. SEAWEED!
