Kyocera Ceramic Knife + Peeler Giveaway
June 21, 2010

I love my Kyocera knives and kitchen tools and I like introducing people to them. Having good quality cutlery is a must and the Kyocera brand is a part of my cutlery collection. I also own their ceramic peeler, mandoline, and the everything mill. When house guest or people from raw food classes I’ve taught try my Kyocera knife, they love it. It slices effortlessly. No roughed up tomatoes with this knife. It slices a tomato like a dream, and dicing, and chopping fruits, vegetables, fresh herbs, etc., is sheer ease.

The ceramic peeler is lovely. Its blade has the same qualities and benefits as the ceramic knife. Peeling fruits and vegetables is also effortless.
What’s so else besides ease of slicing and peeling makes these ceramic kitchen tools so great? The ceramic blade is made of zironium oxide making it ultra-sharp, beating most stainless steel knives in the sharpness department and can last for years without sharpening. It’s stain-proof, rust-proof, nonstick, light weight, has no metallic taste or smell, won’t alter the appearance of food, and is super easy to clean. Both are dishwasher safe.
I’d like to introduce you to this knife and peeler. I have one of each to giveaway: one 5″ easy-to-grip ceramic knife, and one advanced ceramic peeler!!

First of all, happy b-day!
Secondly, I have been dreaming to try ceramic knives. I spend way too much time in the kitchen and having a knife I would not have to sharpen as often will sure make it even more fun for me.
I would love this because I have terrible knives. I even cut myself once. Plus I really didn’t know what type to get and this is a great opportunity.

[...] Kyocera Ceramic Knife + Peeler Giveaway [...]
thanks for holding this wonderful giveaway! I would love to win because as a someone who is just beginning her journey with not only raw foods, but also with learning the joys of cooking I think these items would be a great way to keep me excited and motivated!
I just want to feel special :)

Love the site, happy b-day!
Would put these kitchen tools to great use slicing and dicing veggies!
I’m moving to a new apartment in a new city and I’d looove a set of these knives, they are my favourites! Ceramic equipment really is the best… It would be a fantastic surprise moving gift :).
I would like to win because I only have one decent knife – the rest are all leftovers from sets that have long since rusted/fallen apart.

Oh my! I have been looking around for a quality knife. My current knives are dull and since adding more and more raw foods to my diet I have realized that great knives are a necessity. I would love to win!
I’d love to have these! I spend so much time cutting vegetables and fruits every day, and all my knives are dull and difficult to work with. This would make life so much easier!
I NEED the kyocera ceramic knives because I’ve squashed way too many beautiful tomatoes with my crappy old knife!
Yes! Happy birthday and happy solstice!
I have severe carpal tunnel syndrome (as a matter of fact, I’m dictating this response!), which makes life and my work very challenging. Anything I can do to reduce effort for my hands is absolutely necessary, such as having great tools to make easier work of my food prep.
I eat a raw diet to help a genetic condition, and it has really transformed my quality of life. So much so that I’m considering training to help others go raw :-)
Oh, and I tweeted! I’m @sarvasoap.
Thanks for this great offer!
I’d love to own one so I can peel vegies and fruit without it going off! Also it would be awesome to show people ‘down under’ in Australia the benefits of ceramic kitchen tools.
My sad old peeler is having a tough time these days – we used it the other day to do shaved asparagus and it was a struggle. And my knives aren’t in much better shape. I have wanted to try these for ages!
I’ve been very interested in these knifes. I have not tried it yet but I would love to.
Thanks
Cynthia
A super sharp knife is essential in any kitchen and mine are approaching their use-by date.
I would love these because they’re well designed, functional and low maintenance – the perfect kitchen companion!
I would love to win this set because our knives and peeler are so cheap and hurts my shoulder to use them. I’ve heard alot of great things about the Kyocera ceramic knives, such as, the fruit you cut won’t oxidize as quickly with no contact from metal, no metallic taste, never needs sharpening and sharper then any other knife. A must have :)
Why do I want this set?
Helloooooo!
I want to be like Ingrid when I grow up (and have big girl utensils).
keep hearing about these, would love to try them. so many chefs recommend them. one can never have enough tools to use.
I’d love to win this set because I’ve been using dull knives for far too long and the Kyocera products sound wonderful. I cut and peel so many fruits and vegetables every day and I’m sure that it would make an enormous difference to have such fine kitchen tools!
I’ve heard a lot about ceramic knives and have wanted to try one for a few years now. I’m also getting low on good knives and it’d be great to have a high quality one!
Those are beautiful kitchen products! I would love a nice sharp knife to help me chop the heck out of veggies, and a peeler that’s not always spinning around in its socket when I’m trying to peel a potato.
I’ve never tried any of the ceramic tools. I’m currently in the market for some new gadgets to make my raw food life easier. I’m still working with some old ‘Titanium’ brand (think ginzu) knives that mush my tomatoes into paste trying to cut them. =(
Anyway, thanks for the offer/giveaway.

I have been dying to try these knives. I try and take good care of my knives, but sometimes it seems so futile. I would love to not have to ’score’ my tomatoes and other produce before making a full slice!
What a lovely giveaway! I’d love to win this for two reasons:
1. I’ve been wanting to compare my lovely Wusthof knives to a ceramic knife.
2. My lovely Wusthof knives desperately need sharpening. Somehow the idea of a knife that doesn’t ever or exceedingly rarely needs to be sharpened is appealing….
I would love to have this set because I am a raw beginner and these items would make it easier for me to prepare raw foods — ceramic is highly recommended in a raw kitchen.
Thank you!
I would love to win the peeler and knife. It would make peeling and chopping veggies sooo easy.
i hope i win i hope i win i hope i win
i’ve never worked with any ceramic cutlery and would love to own some!
I do have a Kyocera chef’s knife and paring knife. They’ve both changed my kitchen experience! So easy to slice, dice & chop. I would love another, honestly because I’ve used my so much (professionally for over a year) that it’s time to send away for sharpening and I was thinking about getting a backup while mine is on vacation! Ok–time to tweet! Thanks for the awesome giveaway and good luck to all!
I would love to have these because I have heard that ceramic products make cutting vegetables and fruits easier. Anything to help this chore easier is great as I have problem with my hands anyway and not having to sharpen a knife would be so much more simple.
I’m a cooking nut and LOVE using & trying new cooking tools!
The kitchen gremlins have been at it again in our household. First, they snapped the tip off my favorite knife. Then, they made off with my vegetable peeler. I’m making due with a craptacular peeler for now, but I kind of hope the gremlins decide to take it as well. Perhaps if I try these ceramic ones they won’t know what they won’t recognize them, and I’ll finally be able to peel and chop all my garden-fresh produce with ease again. Thanks for sharing!
I have been shopping around for a a good new knife and have read great reviews on ceramic knives and would love to win so I can test it out and possibly buy a few more. I am a newlywed so my days in the kitchen have more than doubled and with a new COOL toy my hubby might even be more enthusiastic about helping me:)
I would love to replace my old knives and try the ceramic knife and peeler. I go through knives very quickly as they grow dull and don’t meet up to it’s expectations. My knives are heavy and hard to grip and I have more knives than any other utensils I own. I’ve tried all kinds, even nice, expensive brands and thought stainless steel was the only way to go. Razor sharp precision and weight is a big factor and I love how light ceramic utensils are. I never got around trying them because I have spent so much trying new knives. Given the opportunity to try out the kyocera ceramic knife and peeler would be great and if it works as well as it claims, I’d be happy to replace or add to my cutlery. Thank you for this opportunity.
Cheers!
I would love to win this set. I have a set of Henckels knives and enjoy them, use them everyday. I’ve heard such good things about ceramic knives and would love to try them. Thank you!
Would love to win!! I’ve started juicing every morning and these would help make that more fun!
Because the knife set I currently own is cheap and I’d rather have 1 great knife, instead of a bunch of ones that are poor quality.
I want to win as I’m a big fan of ceramic technology.
Please pick me! I’ve been wanting the Kyocera knives and peeler for a long time, but have been hesitant to buy because of $$. I would LOVE to have a quality knife & peeler in my kitchen. It’d make my life so much easier! Thanks, Ingrid, for this offer =) I tweeted. http://twitter.com/lyna_le
I would love to have to set because I have only had the priviledge of experiencing the knives and peeler through a raw food chef friend of mine when we get together and do pot lucks for raw food meet-ups. I’ve asked several times to borrow or please let me have and for them to purchase another but the answer was always the same no. They cut beautifully and will last you a life time as long as you know how to treat them. I love her knives and would love to win one of my own. THank you and have a blessed day.
Andrea Williams
I’ve never heard of them, I’m so excited. Love, love , love great peelers. I just made my daily dose of green drink and anything to make life easier is on my list.
Blessings on the day.
I would like this set as it would make my life easier. I cook from scratch every day.
These knives and peelers are awesome. When I used to work at a resturaunt we had a ceramic peeler, it was my best friend! But my boss wouldn’t tell me where he got it from. Now I know!!!
I love the idea of not having to sharpen them for a long time and that they are naturally non-stick.
I would like to win this because my current knives are pretty old and worn out.

.
I have the knife and love it, while preparing food with my husband we always try to get Kyocera knife instead of our metal knives… so an extra one in our kitchen would be handy!… also would love to try the peeler…
Thank You!
My partner(girlfriend) and i are eating more and more raw vegan.Getting better everyday~*
Many metal knives and peelers have we used, many have not kept there sharpness for very long. And they have to be sharpened often. i have been wishing/dreaming to use a ceramic knife and peeler,i never have.Chopping the large amount of food we prepare does effect our hands and wrists.Hoping that ceramic will be an answer. Peaceful food fun.
I’d love to win this set of Kyocera kitchen products mainly because I have the oldest set of cutlery on the planet! It would be great to have a couple of new additions to my set. Love that they’re non-reactive, too!

Hello!
I just tweeted (@PurelySimpleRaw) the giveaway! Thanks for the extra points!!!
I would LOVE this set! I have been admiring ceramic knives and cutlery for so long, and would love to have the opportunity to use these. I am beginning to teach raw foods classes in an area where NOBODY is eating raw! So it’s super important for me to bring the best equipment and information to people through my classes, and cutting with standard knives just won’t “cut it.” Haha, pun intended! :)
Plus, I am transitioning my husband to raw foods. He’s a cancer survivor, and creating the best, most nutritious meals for him is super important, and this set of knives would really help out. He’s only 29 years old, and living this lifestyle will do wonders for his health.
Thanks for this opportunity, I really look forward to hearing who you pick as the winners!
Thanks,
Jenny Mrkobrad
I am moving to a healthier diet and would LOVE to have these for all the fresh local veggies I’ll be incorporating into my diet!
Thank you for this wonderful give away! I would so love to win this set coz I’ve read that ceramic knives and peelers will help keep raw fruits and veggies fresh longer, with much less oxidation taking place on the parts/sides that touched the knife compared to cutting or peeling them with a regular steel knife or peeler. I also know that ceramic knives and peelers are much easier to use, especially when it comes to cutting food with precision. They hardly need sharpening as well. This set would make a perfect addition to my raw kitchen, so I hope I win :)
Happy Birthday! :)
I’d like to win because my knives suck! And I make my hubby nervous when I have to chop! ;)
I tweeted: @LaurenGinger: http://twitter.com/LaurenGinger/status/16790992249
Great giveaway, thanks! I also tweeted about it for you. (@simplyvegan)
PS – The reason why I’d like to win this set is mainly because it can’t rust. That certainly means a longer life for the product.
I need a good chopping knife for the veggies I have and use and of course a peeler always comes in handy.
Great giveaway! I bought a very cheap ceramic peeler once and it fell apart so I’d love to replace it with a quality peeler and knife. I’ve heard good things about this brand.
I have recently started incorporating raw cuisine in my otherwise vegan diet so at this time I am continuing to set up my kitchen to make my entire food experience more entertaining. Also I own a primate sanctuary and they have a similar diet as to what I am now being a part of so the amount of foods I cut on a daily basis is staggering so again anything to make my compassion for foods better is a major plus for me.
Thank you
Lee
I would love to try ceramic! I haven’t tried them yet, but your description makes them sound awesome!!!
Happy Birthday!!
Starting over in life and would love to have this in my new kitchen
Top 10 reason’s I would like to win the Kyocera knife and peeler:
10. Because I am high raw and spend far too much time cutting veggies to shreds even if they aren’t supposed to be shredded!
9. Because I only have one leg (really)
8. Because I have only one leg due to bone cancer(really)
7. Because I almost sliced my finger tip off last summer peeling a jicama (really)
6. Because I don’t want to loose any more appendages (really)
5. Because I’m trying to play the cancer, brain fog and amputee card to win… (and if ya can’t laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at???)
4. Because my miracle blades really aren’t that miraculous.
3. Because my veggies will thank you since they will be so clean cut.
2. Because I’ll be able to scrape some of those icky pesticides off my veggies as I strip them of their outer layer.
AND THE NUMBER ONE REASON:
1. Did I mention it just would be fun to win something that I actually would use???
And I would tweet if I knew how to…but I’m middle aged and these new fangled techno things confuse me…..
How lovely! I have one ceramic knife which i LOVE. Sadly I snapped the blade but I still use and love it. It would be fabulous to have a new knife and a new peeler would be even better!
And I tweeted :-)
I would love to win this set because it is not only beautiful but also because of the many features that make it a perfect addition to any kitchen; whether for the amatuer or professional chef.
I am a mother of 5 and I cook daily; so this would be a great asset to my kitchen. Sometimes it is harder and takes longer to create a recipe if the cutlery one is working with is not of a good quality.
Sincerely,
MARY ANN GALLEGOS
Ahh! I’ve wanted a ceramic knife for so long. I personally prefer hand-dicing and slicing my fruits and veggies rather than using a food processor, so something like this would make it a smooth experience.
I have yet to find a great knife! I would love to give this one a try.
I would love this set for my husband, who is always complaining that he doesn’t have a proper knife AND that our peeler gives him blisters.
6/22 tweet: http://twitter.com/MSW1978/status/16808072511
I would love these because I am working to become a raw food chef here on the island. I think they would make me look more professional in addition to all the great benefits you listed in this post.
I have never owned a Kyocera or any other ceramic knife…I have hearf they are far superior to stainless blades.
I have heard so many wonderful things about ceramic knives, and wanted to own some for a while now! They would be a lovely addition to my raw kitchen!

I would love to win this simply because I love kyocera!
I’ve been cooking for a long time and have often looked jealously at co-workers’ ceramic knives – now’s my chance to join the club! They really do hold an edge better than anything.
I have been so wanting to try ceramic knives. This looks like a great set. Heck, I might even start peeling potatoes again! :)
I have been diagnosed with arthritis and I have problems using the knives I currently have. From looking at the knife and the peeler, they both have handles which would make cutting things easier. I’ve also heard wonderful things about ceramic knives. I’d love to win one and give it a try!
truth is my sister has this set and well to make it short ( they are bad ass )and i really dont want to steal hers
My current knives are circa 1985, and are pretty dull.
I would love to win the knife, mostly because I want to look like a professional cook when I’m in the kitchen and chop with ease! A second peeler would be awesome too. Mine is always in the dishwasher.
I just tweeted.
You’re right, a daul knife causes more mishapps that a sharp knife.I use to cook for a livin and use these knives everyday;took early retirement to take care of our 4 grandkids…and now I’m cooking everyday for my family…and it’s FUN again. But it would be MORE FUN with the right Knives…thanks
I have gone through so many peelers, I can’t even begin to count. Metal peelers inevitably bend, or become dull and catch when peeling. It’s gotten to the point that I rarely peel anything when cooking, but sometimes peeling provides that little extra bit of styling and taste to a raw dish.
I have heard great things about ceramic knives and have always wanted to try one.
GREAT TOOLS,LOVE THEM I’M A RAW FOOD CHEF!
I would love to win this giveaway because I am just beginning to get my “gourmet” kitchen set up, and this would be a fabulous start to my kitchen tool collection. :) Thanks so much for the opportunity to participate in your giveaway!
Tweeted at: http://twitter.com/Shyrider :)
I really like ceramic since the knives hold their edge so well. The 5″ blade is the perfect size for everyday use in the kitchen.
I have few decent knives, so the ceramic knife would be nice to try.
For years I have been searching for a good peeler. It’s so frustrating to deal with the junk out there. This would make my life so much more pleasant. As would a good knife. We’ve had our knife set for 16 years now and they probably should have been tossed 6 years ago.
My knives are about 30 years old .I could use new ones
Comment Tweeted via @NaturallyMariam
I would like to win this product, because I’ve heard food is less oxide using a ceramic knife.
Oh, I love ceramic knives. I don’t actually own any, but used a friend’s while cooking in her kitchen. I would love to win this set.
I would love to win this for my husband who loves to cook. We have not had the opportunity to purchase any new items for the kitchen in a long time and our current knives are in really bad shape. I know he would enjoy a new knife. :)
Thanks so much for the great giveaway!!

Thanks again!! :)
My husband likes to cook and is picky about his knives and equipment. I think he would really enjoy trying something new like this.
I’d like to win because I need some high quality kitchen items.
I need a good knife so bad. All my knives are old and dull. Even the ones that are supposed to stay sharp forever never do. I would love to try this one.
I gave my mom a ceramic knife for Christmas and she loves it. I’d like to have one for myself now!
These sound great! With all the food preparation we have to do in the kitchen, anything to make things easier would be welcome. Thanks for the giveaway.
Would love to win these quality items for all the summer vegetables growing in my garden this year. Fresh food and summer after a long winter. Quality cooking tools would make it perfection.
I’d love this set. Sharp knives are vital for cutting as many vegetables as I do!
I have been wanting a beautiful ceramic knife for a long time, I love the idea of non metallic knives and didn’t know you could get ceramic peelers either – what a dreamy looking tool, the food would surely love it.
Happy (belated) Birthday to yooooooou.
My knives are almost as old as I am. I really would like to try these Kyocera Ceramic tools.
Thank you. :-)
Thanks for the chance.
mogrill@comcast.net
I would love this combo!! I’m sick of sharpening my knives constantly.
I’ve heard a lot about ceramic knives and have been dying to try them out for myself. Winning this prize would be my chance.
I would love to have this knife because I have a Wusthof knife that really needs to be sharpened. I don’t have a sharpener, so sometimes I use my coworker’s sharpener. It would also be lovely to have a knife made of ceramic because I hear they don’t interfere as much with the energy and flavor of the food.
I’ve got one ceramic knife already but no peeler.
Ihave been longing to have a good knife as i use knives on a daily basis and this would be a good opportunity to acquire one.
mkvegas tweeted
very different like to see how good a job they will do
I would love it because my knives are always dull. I’m always searching for the best new knife for my kitchen!
Would put these kitchen tools to great use slicing and dicing veggies
need a working peeler
I’d like to own a good knife I can hide from my husband. He tends to use my knives for screwdrivers and bends them.
dolniaks[at]consolidated[dot]net
I need to own an knife that actually good. Thanks.
my peeler is going on 6 years old…time to upgrade topgun34er(at)hotmail(dot)com
it would be very useful to have
It’s quite hard to do, but I managed to break my last Kyocera knife :(
I’ve been drooling over ceramic knives forever and have been saving up for one. Winning a knife would free up my pennies, and I could spend them on fruits and veggies to chop rather than saving them for the chopper!
Thanks!!
Less sharpening, more cutting.
I love to cook and have a great respect for fine equipment. I would love to own these quality tools.
I don’t own a Kyocera ceramic knife but I definitely heard about them. They are supposed to be phenomenal for slicing a cooked roast. Thanks for a great giveaway!
I’d like to win because it’d give me the chance to try ceramic knives – I need something sharp and fast to get thru all the veggies and fruits this summer.
I was just reading about how great ceramic cookware is. Plus my peeler (old plastic one) broke about a month ago and my carrots are sad. These look fabulous and would impress my foodie friends.
Would love to have this knife and peeler as I am new to the Raw world and am wanting to experience good tools to use. I feel so much better on this; great for the diabetes!
I SO need a new peeler!
I would like this knife because, quite frankly, all of my knives are cheap!
The Kyocera knive and peeler would be fabulous additions to my kitchen tools. I love eating raw food and sharing with what I make and learn with others. I am learning so much about health and wellness at this time in my life. I have recently lost 45 pounds and eating raw foods helps me achieve my health and wellness goals.
I would love this because my current knives are super dull.
It is much easier to get cooking done when you have a sharp knife and utensils.
I am so tired of having dull knives and having to take them to be sharpened. I think this is such a novel idea and am dying to try them!
I have just been getting into raw more in the last year or so and would love some great kitchen tools.
I just really really want this set. Ever since I was first introduced to your website 6 months ago, I’ve known this is the knife I want. I have only seen it at one store in Vancouver (it’s just not in the budget right now). So if I could win it, that would be amazing!
Thanks Ingrid for all of your valuable info.
Your great!
I would love to own these as it seems they would make it easier for me to prepare food as I have carpal tunnel.
Thanks.
I’d honestly would just love to try the ceramic utensils. I haven’t had a chance, and would love to try it out! Plus my all purpose knife is getting pretty dull. Funny how it works out!
Very Sharp
Go team
I would love these because I spend a lot of time in the kitchen now. I am cooking/making/baking pretty much everything from scratch for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet that my daughter is on due to her recent ulcerative colitis diagnosis. I have never been one to enjoy spending time in the kitchen, but thanks to positive results my daughter is having and having great gadgets to work with, I’m starting to enjoy the kitchen more. I hate every peeler I have ever bought and hesitate to buy any more, but this might be my last attempt if I don’t win it first! :)
Why I’d like to have the knife and peeler? I was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer that had spread to the liver in January of this year. I was told it was “uncureable”. I started researching and got some great advice to change my diet to all raw. What the heck does that mean?!!! I’d never heard of a raw diet before! Well, it’s been six months now. I feel incredible! Cancer isn’t gone yet but I’m in better shape now and am back to the same size I was when I got married 16 years ago. My husband and kids love being in the kitchen, ‘helping Mom beat the cancer’ by prepping fruits and veggies! But due to the massive expense of changing my diet to 100% organic, purchasing a juicer and a blender. We don’t have much money to spend on fun things like ceramic knives! I just started reading about them and would love to try it but… it’ll have to wait a few more months until we have a wee bit of cash “laying” around!
I have a horrible old peeler that never works well. I really need a high tech peeler.
Hi Ingrid! Hope all is well with you.
I would loooooove to win this set because I am in need of some high-quality cutlery. Cutting veggies with dull knives is no fun, and a tad dangerous. I’d also love to win these items because I would be able to take a Knife Skills 101 class proudly with a Kyocera Ceramic Knife. :)
I would like it because I am curious about ceramic knives–have been reading about them.
This is a great giveaway! I will be going to college in the fall and this ceramic knife would save me both time and money… things a student can’t get enough of!
What interests me most about this set is that they stay sharp for years and that “effortless peeling” part.
I would love this set because I eat raw foods 80% of the time ,but the knoves I have are not very good and I dont have a peeler. Would love to try some of the recipes I see using these tools:).
My knives are not very sharp and do not hold an edge well.
A ceramic knife? My mouth waters.
I would love to have these super kitchen tools to work with. We certainly eat a lot of veggies around here. :)
I would like to own this set because it would be nice not to mangle my tomatoes. : )
Wow, they sound amazing! I’m in desperate need of a great knife and peeler for my carrots…I look a little silly gnawing on the top end.
Thank you for offering this BEAUTIFUL knife/peeler set. This would be a wonderful addition to the family kitchen tool set–there are 4 budding raw chefs here–Me and three daughters are re-learning food prep in the land of pork BBQ (grilled outside)and boiled veggies swimming in butter. Sharing one great knife set (thank you SIL!)is a little inconvenient.
I am ready to start over with items that truly work. We have many hand-me-downs and although we have sharpened our knives (more than once) they go dull real fast. And, I never gave thought to a peeler wearing out – but ours doesn’t do much peeling – so something new that has great reviews will be great to have in the house!
I’d love a good knife, mine are all hand me downs that don’t cut very well!
Since my interest in raw foods I’ve been wanting a ceramic knife for a while now, but they’re a bit pricey so I had to hold back on buying one. Because of all the benefits of ceramic blades, this would be a great tool with helping in my raw food transition. And the peeeler, well I’ll be able to do unlimited rawviolis and so much more. Thanks for the opportunity!
I would enjoy trying these knives, as I am an experienced chef and would love to see the difference. I have been reading about these ceramic knives and am intrigued.
I would like to win this because all my knives are somewhat dull.
http://twitter.com/KarenP_KarenP/status/17843581322
my knives are in bad shape, i could really use a few new ones
I would love this ceramic knife set for my wife who is becoming vegan. We are newly weds (a year on Aug. 8th) and she’s been working hard to make vegan meals that I’ll enjoy and will have enough balanced nutrition for me too. I was raised on meat and potatoes and now I’m happily eating sweet potato ravioli with tofu and spinach filling. I’m sure she would love this set and use it all the time.
I would love this as I never tried out a ceramic knife or peeler before. My knifes get dull so this would be interesting to see how these hold up.
I would love to get my hands on these, because I live on a boat, and ceramic doesn’t rust! Also because I deal with a lot of doubters about raw, and uncrushed tomatoes go a long way towards that!
Tweeted also.
I would love this because we are in need of a new veggie peeler.
I’m always looking for good quality knives to cut my vegetables and fruit.
With my tiny kitchen and having 7 people to feed, efficiency is a must! I currently have 6 knives (one an expensive brand name that I cannot keep sharpened) and I’m always switching between them to find one sharp enough for the specific job I’m doing (tomatoes are my nightmare!). Having a low-maintenance piece of cutlery would be a dream come true. Thanks for offering this great giveaway!
Hello!
Spending oodles of time in the kitchen allows me not only be in control what goes into my and my family’s bellies, but it also serves as time to decompress from a busy job. I have discovered raw food only a short while ago, and am already reaping some wonderful benefits. It would be great to have some new tools in the kitchen that would allow me to explore living food even more!
I would love to win this prize because we don’t have a decent, sharp knife in our house. Cooking is a nightmare, this would help! Thanks :)
I tweeted the giveaway at http://twitter.com/sbshortie/status/18311467079
I would love the opportunity to win these items because although I’ve been vegan a long time – I’ve really just come across raw in all it’s vital glory & unfortunately I haven’t at all much money and Vita-Mixes, Dehydrators, Food Processors, Spiroolis, Mandolins, Ionised Water Systems, Sprouting Trays & Juicers (that which are all utilised to some degree in most raw recipes/lifestyles) are incredibly expensive – My point being, to have the luck to win such high quality tools that would last such a long time with care would not only prevent serious waste on my part from buying cheap brands that break easily, but would also be cherished as much as the gorgeous, fresh produce I would be cutting/peeling!
P.S. I am afraid I can’t add this to twitter as I place real social conversations at the very top of my important pile and therefore have neither Twitter nor Facebook.
Whatever the outcome, thank you for such a thoughtful opportunity!
Thanks for offering this great giveaway. I would love to try this knife and peeler. I am new to uncooking and have been through a few marginally helpful knives and broken a few peelers and it would be nice to have something sharp that won’t turn my food brown so quickly. But, it sounds like a few others may need it even more. :)
I would like to have this set because I don’t own a decent knife. They are all dull and even after attempting to sharpen them, they still do not cut well. Thanks for the chance!
I’d love to have this set to give to my husband for his birthday next month. He is a FANTASTIC, loving husband who cooks and cleans (all I have to do is the laundry)! He loves kitchen gadgets and I know he has been wanting some ceramic knives!
I would love to win because I need a new Knife and that Peeler looks easy to use. I struggle with the metal peeler I have now.
I would like to win because I have heard good things about ceramic knives.

Always looking to try new cooking products that will help me in my kitchen. Heard lots about ceramics!!
I received my first Kyocera ceramic knife from my boyfriend’s mother for christmas and I was instantly in love … I have a traditional knife set and hope to slowly transition into a ceramic knife set – however I am a nursing student so money is tight and I am growing my raw kitchen very, very slowly. Receiving this set would help me out in many ways.
I would like this set as my husband and I are just starting to venture into the realm of raw foods. It sounds like it would be wonderfully helpful. :)
I want the knife and peeler because both of mine are dreadfully dull and have been wanting to try ceramic knives for awhile.
I would love to win this set because I need a new knife and our peeler has also probably seen better days. I don’t really have any knives…except for old and dull ones I never touch and so I use old steak knives to cut everything up and even then they have passed the need to be replaced date. As is I hate cutting things up and have cut myself a dozen of times, cursed, swore and complained more than a dozen of times over said knifes and that we need good chef knives as when ever I do use decent knifes at other people’s places, it seems like cutting and slicing up fruit and vegetables isn’t a chore to hate, actually it doesn’t seem like a chore at all. But I don’t have the funds to go towards new knives. And I’ve been looking into the Kyocera ceramic knives to start on the very needed knife collection, so this would be a great way to start it off.
I’d like to win these because they look far superior to what I’m currently using in my kitchen.
I love how this knife will stay sharp for longer than stainless and how easy ceramic knives seem to cut!

Frankly, my kitchen utensils are junk. They were handed down from family members, and they never quite do the job right! I’ve heard amazing things about Kyocera and would love to own either of these tools. Thank you!
I’d love this set because my current peeler is pretty old and I always cut myself on it.
I tweeted. Thank you! http://twitter.com/Aerated/status/19079358082
I’m entering this because I’ve been reading about Kyocera knives for ages and they get such rave reviews! Thank you!
The knives that I am currently using were purchased with Green Stamps many, many moons ago.
It would be so nice to have an updated knife.
Thank you so much for the giveaway.

I would like to have these knives because I am so curious to try ceramic knives. They sound so different.
I do not have any ceramic tools in my kitchen. To think that the knife is sharper than stainless steel is amazing.
I’ve always wanted better cutlery, but it was one of those luxuries I didn’t really “need” so I’ve just made do with my dull knives all of these years. I love that these can go years without sharpening. Sounds perfect. Thank you so much for the chance to win one!
SHARP knives are important (and safer)
I have NEVER owned a quality knife. I would love to see the difference it makes in food prep! Thanks!
I have always wanted to try ceramic cutting tools
I would like this set because I love to cook and because I could really use a new peeler.
I would love the chance to try these products out. I have been looking for a great knife since the ones I own are so dull. The peeler looks great too!
As a semi-veggie, I cook an lot of vegetables on a daily base so a good knife is a necessity to chopping them all up. I have not tried this kind of peeler yet, so would like to see how it compares to my existing one.
I would love to try these b/c I haven’t used ceramic knives or peelers. Thanks for the contest! codisweepstakes2 (@) gmail(dot)com
I tweeted about your giveaway: http://twitter.com/codisweepstakes/status/19323670055 codisweepstakes2 (@) gmail(dot)com
I eat tons of fruits and veggies so this would be a helpful pair of tools!
I would love to win these because I am a kitchen gadget junkie and do not have these items yet. Thanks for the chance to win. Have a nice day
I would like to have this because I can’t stand how dull all of my stainless knives get.
I would love it because I have heard that ceramic blades last longer than traditional blades.
always wanted to try one of these ceramic knives
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to enjoy food preparation even more and to appreciate the value of good tools. Obviously these are very good and I’d love an opportunity to try them in my own kitchen.
A good knife is indispensable in the kitchen, a fantastic knife is a joy! I would love to upgrade from, good to joyful.
honestly? i have the WORST luck with veggie peelers! i am ever on the lookout for something that will WORK and LAST in my kitchen! it’d be great to give this a try!
this is the first i’ve heard of ceramic knives, and i’m totes intrigued.

I would love this set because I need a good knife and peeler. It would make my cooking chore a lot easier.
I am definitely in need of a good knife. I don’t own a peeler either!!
Due to some loss of hand strength, it is more important now than ever that I have a good knife that does the work so I don’t have to.
I’d like these because I dont have a peeler and the knife looks like it would get most jobs in the kitchen done.
My boyfriend just got a new apartment, and he needs some nice kitchen stuff!
I’d love to try these knives. I have some knives that are suppose to be high quality, but they still don’t work very well. I’m definitely ready to try something new. Thanks!
I would like to try using the Kyocera knife to see if it would make cutting onions and other unwieldy veggies easier. I could use the ceramic peeler for peeling potatoes
I like the ergonomic shape – I have a hard time holding utensil what are shaped in a straight way

I’d like to try them out because my knifes are all really dull!
Thanks!
I’ve heard a lot of great things about ceramic knives and would love to try them.

I would love this because I have terrible kitchen knives and like the peeler!

I never have a sharp knife when I need one.
I would especially love to win the knife because I can never keep my knives sharp enough! And I LOVE thinly sliced tomatoes!
I can also use a good knife

We are vegetarians and we eat loads of vegetables, so I really need a good sharp knife, plus a good vegetable peeler to replace my old worn out one. I have been seeing ceramic knives for a while and wanted to try one, so this would be great to win. Thanks!
I could really use a sharp set of knives. The sharpest ones I have were bought at a grocery store from a suave selling knife man that showed me I can throw a lemon on it and slice it in half…haha…they are really small though so they are good for garlic and not much else. A big sharp knife would be fabulous! :)
I love trying new kitchen products – especially anything that will make my job easier! That peeler looks like it would get more peel at a time, and the knife looks wonderful and sharp!!
I’ve heard ceramic knifes need to be treated with care as they can break if you drop them.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d love to have an updated peeler. Mine is pretty much what my mother used to have and I’m using it a lot more

My mom has arthritis and I think these would be great for her to use without pain.
I would like to win this set because I am dreaming of a good quality kitchen knife. The peeler also looks great.
My husband and I are both avid cooks and if we had a dollar for every knife we have bought and been disappointed by – we’d be very rich indeed and we would have a big drawer of second rate knives we never use!
We’d love to try the Kyocera Ceramic Knife (and we really NEED a good one!) – we’ve heard a lot about them – only good things!
I love to cook and i can use this to make life easier.. a great knife is the key in cooking great food!
I cook a lot of vegetables so the knife and the peeler would both come in handy.

I have always wanted to try a ceramic knife but they have always been out of my price range for decent ones anyway.
Thank you first! I love the peeler! Just today I cut my finger using a regular peeler, so it is hard to type. This would be great!
I have heard that the ceramic knifes and especially this brand are real nice. So it would be nice to win one to try out and see before spending the cash to buy more of them.
I would love this set because they sound great and is made of good quality.
I would like it because I currently don’t have a single knife that cuts well at all. I’ve heard great things about ceramic products but never tried one. Thanks.
I would enjoy using the Kyocera Ceramic Knife to prepare veggies for stir fry and other dishes that require chopped veggies
Since giving up most processed foods I’ve been spending so much more time in the kitchen. It would be really nice to have a set like this to make preparing those foods a bit easier.
I love to have this because I have never used a ceramic knife and I understand they are really great.
IF ONLY YOU COULD SEE MY KNIVES, THEY ARE SO DULL, THAT I COULD BARELY CUT THROUGH A TOMATO THE OTHER DAY! WOULD LOVE TO TRY A CERAMIC KNIFE!
I would really live this set to sharpen up on my knife skills.
I just got married 2 months ago and I have absolutely nothing… And I don’t mean that I have some things but it seems like nothing, it’s really not one thing! So I’d love to win this :)
They are easy to grip and I have arthritis!
Thanks!
I would like these because I LOVE to cook, but don’t have very good knives.
I think ceramic cutlery is a great idea. I would really like to try something new like this.
We use lots of excuses why we don’t cook more often and one is our bad, BAD knives. This set would go a long way toward squashing our excuses and lead us toward healthier eating!
I’m constatnly cutting and peeling veggies, so a good knife would be great. I have a ding in mine. :( Plus I’ve always wanted to try ceramic blades.

I’d like to win this set, because I’ve never had a ceramic knife, and I’ve always heard that they’re the best.
we don’t have any good knifes around here and I’ve wanted to try a ceramic one, I love fruits and veggies so a peeler would be great to have too
I’d love to win because I cook all the time but my knives are so dull!
Thanks for the giveaway…I have heard great things about the ability of ceramic knives to keep their edge but I have never used one as of yet; as for the peeler, we seem to go through one every six months or so (we use a Swedish-type metal peeler that always seems to get rusty and break, right in the middle of preparing a big family dinner). A good reliable peeler is almost as important to us in our kitchen as a good knife, so we are ready to give a peeler with a ceramic blade a try !!!
I do a lot of cooking and always need a good knife and a peeler.
