Frequently Asked Questions

When did you first discover raw food?

I discovered raw food in February 2007 while living in Budapest, Hungary. During that time, I was preparing to begin an 8-day fast and while researching online, I stumbled upon G Living. This site was my first introduction to raw food. After I completed my fast, I officially began a raw vegan diet in March 2007.

Who takes the pictures for Raw Epicurean?

I take all the pictures on Raw Epicurean, unless otherwise indicated. The pictures were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 2200.

Are you professionally trained?

The greater part of my food education [pre and post raw] comes from collecting and perusing recipe books and magazines, from these sources I have self-taught myself how to execute the recipes and create dishes.
